My name is Kate Ruggeri, and this is my portfolio.

I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual communication, with a minor in Spanish language from Truman State University. I also have experience in black and white film and color digital photography, as well as traditional printmaking techniques including lithography and letterpress. My resume contains further details about my experience, education and skills.

This portfolio is a collection of graphic design, illustration, photography and printmaking pieces which I have created over my time at Truman State University. Many pieces were part of assignments for classes, but majority of the photographs and illustrations produced were pieces which I worked on in my spare time.

Of the media presented, I consider photography to be my stongest suit, but I learn quickly and am able to adapt to new techniques. Additionally, I have very good hand skills in creating fine lines in illustrations, in constructing matted works and float mounts, and have experience in building wooden frames from scratch as well.
